Black Butte Extravaganza highlights busy May at Black Butte Ranch
Free Mother’s Day Golf, great rates, spring tune-ups also on tap
By now you have dusted off that old set of clubs, cleaned those golf shoes, and draped yourself in that faded golf shirt for the first round of the year. Already you have decided what equipment and gear needs to be replaced and what can last at least one more golf season.
Making the process easy and affordable is exactly why Black Butte Ranch hosts its annual Memorial Day Extravaganza. Scheduled for May 27 and 28, the Extravaganza includes the Big Meadow Demo Day & Tent Sale, the marquee event during what will be a busy May at Black Butte Ranch.
Manufacturers such as Ping, TaylorMade, Cobra, and Bridgestone Golf will all be stationed on the driving range of Big Meadow on Saturday, May 27, for any and all to come and test out each company’s latest and great equipment. Apparel companies will also be on hand to show off their wares.
“The Demo Day and Tent Sale is one of our most popular events, and for good reason,” aid Jeff Fought, Black Butte Ranch’s director of golf. “It’s not every day that golfers get to try out all the new equipment in such a fun, low-pressure environment, even if you have not intention of buying. And if you are in the market for new equipment, there is no better way to shop with all the latest and greatest products on hand for all to try out.”
As for bargains will be found at the Tent Sale. Much of the clubs, balls, and Black Butte Ranch logo apparel that has been stocking the golf shop shelves at Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow will be offered at well below retail.
The demo day will be held on Saturday, May 27, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The tent sale will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Everyone is welcome and admission is free. It’s a fun way to tee off the summer golf season.
