36 Holes of Mountain Golf

Golf at Black Butte Ranch resort in Sisters Country Oregon

Playing golf at Big Meadow or Glaze Meadow golf course is always a special experience. Black Butte Ranch sits at the base of the Cascade Range and both Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow golf courses offer stunning mountain views.

Over the past three years, the Big Meadow golf course has undergone a prominent renovation overseen by the talented architects at Graves and Pascuzzo. Theses enhancements have lengthened the course to 7,000 yards, added numerous bunkers and raised the quality of the playing experience to a new level. Big Meadow represents mountain golf at its very finest. Every component of the course from tees to immaculate greens now matches the singular setting of Black Butte Ranch.

Glaze Meadow golf course is known for its doglegs and elevation changes, which require accurate shot making and offer challenges to golfers of all skill levels. The towering Ponderosa pines create the feeling of playing on a private course and players can experience golf in nature far from any distractions other than the stunning snow capped Cascade Peaks that surround the course at every turn.

NOTE

Last winter was a tough one for Central Oregon golf courses. Many courses experienced damage and everyone is working diligently on the repairs.

Some of the greens on Big Meadow sustained ice damage, with holes 12 and 13 hit the worst. A decision was made to resod them so they will be in pristine condition for the season. Other areas needing attention will also be addressed at that time

The greens will be out of play for two weeks. Work begins Wednesday, June 3 with the completion on Thursday, June 4. Temporary greens will be used on 12 & 13 until Friday, June 19.
Spring green fees are still in effect until June 26.

Call 800.399.2322 or 541.595.1500 for details.
