Major Projects completed for 2008 
You have been so patient with us, and now our major projects for Big Meadow are finished for the 2008 golf season! Come revisit an old favorite and see how we have gracefully met the challenge of new technology while paying tribute to this wonderful Robert Muir Graves design.
Big Meadow is one of America's favorite golf courses, garnering numerous awards over its 30 plus years. This straightforward design has a classic mountain course layout. The sculpted fairways draw the eye to the surrounding terrain. Aspen groves and Ponderosa Pine trees frame stunning views of the seven-peaked Cascade Mountain range. The combination of course grooming, spectacular scenery and tee box options (anywhere from 7,000 to 5,480 yards) makes for an unparalleled experience. It is no wonder that Big Meadow has been host to numerous championships and golf outings of every type.
With four new tee boxes on each tee, fourteen additional "Cape and Bay" style bunkers, and a newly remodeled driving range we think you will be right at home. Our team of golf professionals is ready to assist you with everything from making your tee times and booking your tournament to answering your golf questions and giving private instruction. Driving Ranges
Black Butte Resort has driving range facilities at both Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow. Each range is complete with a full length range for the big hitters. Perfect your short game on the putting green or at our bunker and chipping practice area at Big Meadow.
Driving Range E-Key
$110/50 tokens plus $5 refundable deposit. E-Keys are not transferable and may be
used only by the purchaser, spouse or dependent children. Available at either Golf
Shop.
Rates for Buckets of Balls
$4 - small bucket (1 token) | $7 - large bucket (2 tokens)

Reservation Policy
Black Butte Ranch golf courses utilize an alternating “Odd/Even Course Rotation”
for advance golf starting time reservations.

Property Owners & Season Passes
• Reservations may be made by Owners/Pass Holders on “Owner Course” 14 days in
advance, and the “Guest Course” seven days in advance.
• Telephone calls are taken starting at 7:00am; a maximum of two starting times per
day, per telephone call may be made.
Registered Guests of the Ranch
• Reservations may be made by guests staying on the Ranch on the “Guest Course”
45 days in advance, and the “Owner Course” seven days in advance.
• Telephone calls are taken starting at 8:00am; a maximum of two starting times per
day, per telephone call may be made.
• Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card and a reservation number.
Day Guests
• Reservations may be made by day guests (general public) not staying on the Ranch
on the “Guest Course” 30 days in advance.
• Telephone calls are taken starting at 8:00am; a maximum of two starting times per
day, per telephone call may be made.
• Reservations must be guaranteed with a credit card.
Cancellation Policy
In order to more efficiently utilize the golf courses, we require 24 hour notice for
cancellations or a reduction in the number of players. Credit cards or Property
Owner account information will be required when making advanced starting times.
Credit cards or Property Owner accounts will be charged for starting times
not cancelled.
Tee-time reservations are required on all weekends and daily from June through Labor day.
