Big Meadow is one of America's favorite golf courses, garnering numerous awards over its 30 plus years. This straightforward design has a classic mountain course layout. The sculpted fairways draw the eye to the surrounding terrain. Aspen groves and Ponderosa Pine trees frame stunning views of the seven-peaked Cascade Mountain range. The combination of course grooming, spectacular scenery and tee box options (anywhere from 7,000 to 5,480 yards) makes for an unparalleled experience. It is no wonder that Big Meadow has been host to numerous championships and golf outings of every type.
With four new tee boxes on each tee, fourteen additional "Cape and Bay" style bunkers, and a newly remodeled driving range we think you will be right at home. Our golf reservation policy has changed this year. We will no longer enforce the odd/even rotation when making golf reservations.
Beginning April 1st, property owners and guests may make starting times on either course. Owners and guests will be able to make reservations with no limit to the number of days in advance. (Example: April 1st owners and guests may make starting time in August.)
However, the number of consecutive starting times will remain the same; two starting times per phone call.
If you need more than two starting times, you are required to call our group coordinator at 541-595-1292. We will help you with starting times for nine or more players.
One of the concerns we have with opening the tee sheet for the entire season is the possibility of “no show” times. We will be asking everyone for either a credit
card number or their property owner account number to secure your tee time.
Cancellation Policy
In order to more efficiently utilize the golf courses, we require 24 hour notice for
cancellations or a reduction in the number of players. Credit cards or Property
Owner account information will be required when making advanced starting times.
Credit cards or Property Owner accounts will be charged for starting times
not cancelled or for not reducing the number in a group..
Tee Time reservations are required on all weekends and daily from June through Labor day.

Black Butte Ranch Resort has driving range practice facilities at both Big Meadow and Glaze Meadow golf courses. Each range is complete with a full length range for the big hitters. Perfect your short game on the putting green or at our bunker and chipping practice area at Big Meadow.
Driving Range E-Key
$110/50 tokens plus $5 refundable deposit. E-Keys are not transferable and may be
used only by the purchaser, spouse or dependent children. Available at either Golf
Shop. Rates for Buckets of Balls
$4 - small bucket (1 token) | $7 - large bucket (2 tokens)
USGA/GHIN handicap index is available for an annual fee of $40. This includes
membership in the Oregon Golf Association and the Pacific Northwest Golf
Association. All handicaps kept at Black Butte Ranch are de-activated in March and
must be re-activated by checking “Handicap” on the enclosed form or signing up at Big
Meadow Golf Shop. Big Meadow will be the home course for the USGA/GHIN. Tee Times
